Overview
Clearing your browsing history will remove your history of visited websites, but it will not prevent your Internet Service Provider (ISP) from tracking your online activity.
How you erase your web browsing history will depend on which web browser you use.
To prevent your ISP from tracking you, use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) or private browsing mode.
