Delete WhatsApp messages
To delete confidential WhatsApp messages, you can use the 'Delete for Everyone' feature, which allows you to delete messages that you've sent to individual or group chats. Here's how:
Long press on the message that you want to delete.
Tap the delete icon 🗑 (a trash can).
Select 'Delete for Everyone.'
Note: The 'Delete for Everyone' feature must be used within seven minutes of sending the message and can only be used to delete messages that have not been quoted or forwarded by others. Additionally, once a message has been deleted, it will no longer be visible in the chat, but it may still be available on the recipient's device if they have taken a screenshot or have made a backup of their WhatsApp data.
